I am giving this top stars for a few reasons,
1) the effect as a complete routine, will take
spectators on a up and down journey , with the shock element of the “ hypnosis “
2) there is a
clever subtlety taught here, that will make you smile , I am not giving away were , but for those
that download this they will know :))
3) the teaching is clear & concise
4) all in all this
is a small amount of theatre, that can play big

I like the trick.I'll be using this.
Good camera work and audio.
Well presented and
explained.
Easy to create and setup.
I like Matt's explanation and alternate endings.
I'm not that crazy about the script's final reveal.
The "influence" seems a bit weak and
without much purpose.
However, it is up to us to use what we have and make
it special for
us. And this illusion allows us to do that.

I've got a few of Matt's routines and like them all. However, this one is easily my favorite! You've
got mentalism connected to money. Does it get any more engaging than that!!!
A no-brainer
to purchase!

Profit is one of those "why didn't I think of that" illusions. In essence, you seemingly cause a
person to mis-see some amount of money in the context of how you would make (steal) money using your
powers.
Eventhough my persona is not that of a con man (at all), I was able to present it
as an example of how I lost $20.
In fact, I found by asking if they'd trade $20 for the
money they see, the reaction I got was stronger because very few people actually carry $50 bills
(where a lot of people carry $20's). It's also more likely that you would trade $20 for $101.
Additionally, I use the "receipt" method he teaches at the end so I'm carrying less money (and
have less invested in the illusion). Just a personal preference, though.
Pros
- Easy to
make, carry, and present
- Well taught, including variations where you don't need $100 bills
- Especially like some of the "convincer" moves
Cons
- To perform as presented,
you'll need to have a decent piece of money in your wallet that you never spend. As I mentioned
earlier, there are methods to get around this (which he teaches)
- Gimmick will need to be
recreated at times depending on how you made it in the first place (but that is inexpensive and
quick)
This is a nice mentalism piece that steps away from "think of a word in this book".
It is more Real-World in that many people would use it "for profit".
Matt teaches it
clearly and includes a good section on alternatives for various parts. Worth a look if you are into
mentalism.

I purchased this on the strength that in the email it clearly states any currency any language, and
whilst it is true in the strictest sense the handling is definitely somewhat compromised with notes
of different size, colour etc. Here in the UK we have always had different size notes and now the
new plastic notes even have clear see through sections which really make the handling tricky and
less natural. Great idea and if you live in the USA happy days.

I'm a huge fan of Matt Mello and I think that this is a great idea. It's a sure fire way to convince
someone that you are holding more money in your hands than you really are, similar to the Derren
Brown stunt where he buys things with slips of paper.
I was a little confused with the
presentation and in my experience with this type of magic you need to make things extra clear. The
participant put some money in their pocket at the beginning and I'm really confused as to why. Is it
part of the suggestion? Is it supposed to be some sort of a transposition? He's not clear on this
and I'm not sure why you would do this. Because he's not clear the end of the trick just kinda
fizzles out which is unfortunate.
This can be easily remedied with a more clear
presentation.
If this lack of focus hurt your ability to perform the trick I'd give it a
lower rating, but in this case you can still do the trick and you'll have a miracle on your hands if
you do.

If you're staring out in mentalism this is a great routine to start off with. For the more
experienced, the routine has numerous possibilities to make it your own, and there's great
inspiration in this video as well. Great for walk around.

Such an awesome Hypnosis miracle! It's really easy to do, doesn't require Hypnosis experience, and
it's freaking amazing! The only thing you need to work on is you should have a good good patter set
to really maximize the effect!

This is a nice quickie. It has a good hypnotic feel to it and will cause some fun confusion among
your spectators. Easy to perform and learn. It is not a show stopper or a reputation maker, but it
will draw your spectators in for more. Easy to carry with you at all time so you are always
prepared. I don't understand hebohase where the bills come out of the spectators pocket. The video
has several liver performances and the instruction by Mello is good.

As presented, this is a good trick. It is a diamond in the rough, however. The part of the trick
where the participant takes the $100 bill out of their pocket doesn't help the effect one bit. In
fact, it muddies the waters (just look at the spectator's confused reactions). The purpose of adding
that bit is to take the heat off the bills, which it doesn't do. There is a better way.
A
better solution was provided by the input of magicians who purchased this trick. The effect
presented in the manner they suggest is MUCH better and deserving of a 5 star rating.
