This is a great DVD and gives a real in-depth look at the classic force. Paul also covers a few
other card techniques, like the top palm. He reviews the technique and talks about everything that
is possible to happen with the Classic Force, and how to get out of it. Paul is a great teacher, and
the camera angles are perfect on everything except for one technique. This is a must have for every
card magician, weather you think you know the Classic Force well enough or not. The extra routines
Paul includes are good, but they are not quite my style. They are not very comical, but can be made
comical.
I'll give a quick overview:(out of 10)
Teaching-10
Movie Quality-10
Camera Angles-9.5
Paul's Routines-8
Usability-10
Just a quick note, if you
are new to the Classic Force, this will take time to practice and understand. It's a basic concept,
but you will need to practice many many times on friends and family.
Hope this helped make
you buy this product.

Currently out of stock, and I know why. When they have it again, order it and get several tricks
that do not require a force, such as Chaos, Jeff Kaylor's Card to Wallet, Equilibrium, just to name
a few. This will give you plenty of opportunities to practice, and you will be well armed for those
times when it doesn't work. The first part of the process you can practice by yourself, and I
recommend you do.
All the way up to the moment of picking the card, practice all that a hundred
times or more by yourself, then practice doing it on people with your "non-force" tricks until you
gain confidence. You will become unstoppable.

This is one of the best videos I've seen. The shots CLEARY show what is happening. No shaky
camera work as is often the case. No attitude, as is also often the case. Paul actually shows
real-life examples which include how to deal with un-cooperative spectators. This is rare.
Overall, this is a great video. I'd recommend it to folks never before exposed to the classic
force. I'm going to order all of his other videos :)

I've been doing magic since I was a kid, but never had the guts to use Classic Force. That has
changed and I now use this method successfully. Great DVD. Well worth the price.

Man! Paul Green is a sublime teacher and engaging performer and the information he's imparting here
belongs in any dedicated Magi's repertoire. He disseminates tons of tips in a light, breezy and lucid
style that the teaching seem effortless. And the material? The classic force remains one of the most
magical forces of all.

OK,I am not going to give a review, as much as a testimonial. I knew what the Classic Force was
before getting this DVD, but would never ever try it because it seemed like such high odds not to
work.
I watched this DVD, went directly out to the other room where there were three
people. I really had nothing planned, not even patter. I was forcing the powerful Ace of Spades. I
asked my wife to pick any card out of the spread, and she grabbed the Ace of Spades, I was amazed,
it worked. She was amazed I knew what card she picked. I kept testing it and asked a second and
third person to pick a card out of a spread fan. They hit the Ace of Spades all three times.
They were surprised and even checked the deck, but I was as surprised as they were because it
wasn't something I thought I would attempt as part of a trick.
Footnote: I have not tried
it again since I did this a few days ago, kind of because I hate to risk losing my 100% success rate
with the Classic Force.
But this Force does work.

Paul Green is well known for his mastery of the classic force. This DVD is the best place to learn.
Paul teaches all the nuances so that you can go out and be confident with this sleight.

Several classic force finesses are discussed and shown, but the keys to learning the classic force
are only mentioned towards the end of the discussion of the move: practice by doing the force when
you don't need it to work, and you can't practice the force except by doing the force in your shows.
The rest of the video just shows old chestnuts which mostly depend on the classic force. The video
is about 17 years old now, and while the effects are all very workable, they aren't new or
particularly exciting. It was worthwhile to see actual performances followed by detailed
explanations and to see how Paul handles difficult spectators.

Even in the demo performances the girls busted him on his 'moves'.
I got this for
under 4 bucks in the return auction. I completely understand why it was returned. I'd do the same,
but pushing for a return on a 4 buck purchase, much like watching this dvd, isn't worth the time.
