I love utilizing 'Out To Lunch' routines/presentations. I've used rubber bands of various size and
type and I've used a couple of other fairly expensive items on the market that were designed to be
used specifically for executing OTL routines. But this Out To Dinner clip by Doc Eason is my
favorite! It's elegant looking and so unobtrusive as to be above suspicion. Simple, elegant and
perfectly designed. Talk about 'packs small, plays big'!
Now the technical stuff you
need to know: If you care, it's made out of a metal that will stick to a magnet. It's
silver/chrome in color and shiny. In the three years or so I've had mine, I have never had to polish
it. It doesn't tarnish and doesn't chip. The clip is snug enough to hold even two or three
standard business cards snugly and hasn't ever lost it's clip strength.
For optimal use,
you'll want to use between 6 and 12 business cards of standard thickness. If you try to stick more
than about 15 cards in the clip, you may find you have to wiggle/struggle to get them out of the
clip. Keep the number under 15 for smooth, flawless, removal of a single card when you're ready.
If you already perform OTL, then you'll wonder why you didn't get this before. If you are
new to, or interested in, performing OTL, this clip will spoil you and you'll refuse to use any
other method/tool, (or if you try, you'll come back to this one).
One final word: This is the
clip for OTL. It is not a 'trick', per se. It is a utility item designed to provide smooth and
classy execution of the OTL principle. You should know what OTL is and you should have at least one
routine in mind when you purchase this. If that is the case, then you absolutely cannot go wrong
with Doc's Out To Dinner clip!

I finally have the confidence to do more effects using this principle. It looks great, looks
innocent, and it does what it does! Will be getting a couple more!

Much better than using a broccoli band.

It's a brilliant idea and I love all the effects that are possible with this but my business cards
are standard in size and they won't fit in the card clip. Severely disappointed, was really looking
forward to doing "Business Cardiographic". Get some bigger clips and it'll be 5 out of 5.

Too small for European business cards. Why not either offer another size, or make the clip bigger so
it can be used universally? Back to the good old elastic band...

Out to Dinner is too small to use with the Sudoku card.

Ahoy Maties, Great way to hand out ye business cards. Only limited by your imagination. Sure beats
the old brocolli rubberband. Easy to transport but the reactions have been great. I use mini golf
Sharpies for their signatures.

I thought this clip would allow me to perform the trick as easily as I can with a rubber band, but
it doesn't. Maybe it's the thickness of my business cards. They would not come out of the clip
easily and usually the top card came out too. I tried to loosen the clip up some but that didn't
work either. I tried a heavier business card stock but to no avail. I'm back to the rubber band and
that works every time. I pretty much think I wasted my money.
