It’s an old utility device. Instead of fancy threads, it’s a sandwich bag. You could make your own
with a sheet protector.
However, there isn’t anything like it on the market, Lax gives
some good tips, and it comes with two.
$20 is steep. If it’s ever on sale for $10, snag it.

I use this type of [redacted] in my shows all the time. Rick Lax thank you for bringing this to us.
I've already started using it and am getting wonderful results and standing ovations. Anyone that
doesn't purchase this is missing out on a great opportunity.

Simply Fantastic! This is not just a trick but a utility device and a fine one at that! I'm already
coming up with idea's of other ways to use this. You've outdone yourself with this one Rick Lax,
Bravo!!! As for you, the one reading this review, do yourself a favor and click add to cart already!

I will carry Grab Bag with me when I am taking casual magic places. I wouldn't use this in a show
personally, but for situations in bars and parties, I think this has some nice potential. This is a
utility device, and I 100% knew what I was going to get as soon as I ordered it. However, I support
Rick Lax's work and almost always purchase what he puts out. You usually can't go wrong with what
this guy makes.
You receive two of the necessary props you are purchasing in the package.
In my opinion, this is a little bit overpriced. It would be worth $20 if we got more ideas and
performance footage of alternate handlings out of the download. But, he teaches the routine from the
trailer and then teaches an application to playing cards that I don't think I'd ever use because
sleight of hand simplifies what he is accomplishing in his card application he teaches. After this,
he just briefly mentions a couple other ideas. I know that the goal here is to get people to be
creative with this utility prop, but I just believe that for the price tag on this, we should have
received either a better download or more of the props. Maybe the props cost more to make than I
realize.
I am also concerned about refills. Due to the nature of the prop, I doubt it has
crazy lifespan, but I wouldn't want to pay $20 for two more of these again now that I have the
download. However, I guess I just started using this, so it isn't fair to just assume that this
trick won't last. I will be able to report more on this later.
This product isn't
groundbreaking and it isn't going to feel revolutionary to use, but it is a fun thing to play with
and it is perfect for a closeup casual magic performance. It feels more like a bar bet than a magic
trick if you do the routine in the trailer, but you can create your own ideas that are magical if
that's what you want. This isn't a perfect product, hence not having 5 stars from me, but it is
still pretty good. I would recommend it if you want something fairly inexpensive and easy to add
right to your closeup magic that doesn't involve MORE cards.

On the one hand this prop isn't anything new (one of my personal favorites is Osterlind's
Transparent Forces). On the other hand this is probably the most innocuous one I have seen.
Rock's ticket ideas are very good too.
As I said: conflicted. Not because it's bad in
any way, but is it special enough to market and sell it?

The possibility are endless with this!!!!! Within the first 5 mins of watching the video I have come
up with 3 plus different routines to adapt to this. Also this effect is great if your doing a
corporate gig or a trade show. As you can use the whatever you write /draw on the pennies, cards ,
paper or whatever you want to. To go with what the company is selling or what’ the company is
about. Also you can atapt this to any theme. And you combined it with the trick the gift. Once you
watch this video you should understand where my thinking coming from and how this world work

I am amazed at the creativity, both in terms of method and in terms of presentation that Mr. Lax
comes up with. Not only is this a great product that looks just like an everyday object, but the
story sets up the trick and makes the conditions much stronger.
There are so many other things
that can be done with this simple gimmick that I am sure you will have great ideas of your own
before the package eve arrives.
This is a great piece that can be used anywhere from walk-around
all the way to a one man show.
A steal at this price.

Rick Lax will blow you away with Grab Bag. Grab bag will grab your spectators minds and blow them
away. Even knowing how the effect and gimmick work, Rick's ideas and many, many creative
applications make this the one gimmick to buy this year. Just watching the video, it is easy to
see that Rick is also very proud of Grab Bag. I for one plan to use it immediately in my keynote
address. There are so many possibilities. Best of all, you don't need great skill or lots of
practice to look like a pro. I love it!

This is not a magician fooler, the method should be obvious to most magicians but will fly right
past laymen.
That said it is a good use of the prop and a nice routine. The variations
taught are good, especially the "totally impromptu" version with sugar packets, using the bag
initially to carry your sandwich.
If you don't have one of these props (or you don't know
how it is done) this is a cheap way to pick up a very natural looking prop that has a multitude of
uses.

This is quite possibly the cleanest, least conspicuous gimmick of its type ever. I am so thrilled
that I have this now. It’s an instant addition to my closeup and parlor sets. I know you will love
this. GRAB this, NOW! Not only is the routine from Rick a very thought out great presentation, but
there is so much room for your own creative ideas. A+ material.
