An effect so visual, so impossible, one could only describe this as a camera trick - except it isn't. INKLING creates a visually stunning moment of magic, as the ink on your skin appears to instantly move on your command!

Sample effects:

  • The ink on your skin changes from one drawing to another
  • Two drawings on your skin merge into one
  • The drawing disappears and instantly becomes an actual 3D object
From the mind of Abdullah Mahmoud, INKLING creates a perfect opportunity to grab an onlooker's attention, whether on the street or on Instagram. Because of its fast pace, it will hook even the most distracted passerby.

I seem to find this trick very good for video performances and Instagram videos because it's very visual, but in real life this wouldn't be a true worker because it may not work accurate and it can only be used 10 times and you have to make another gimmick. One downfall I seen in this trick is you have to end up supergluing your arm in order to perform this. Shin teaches a better handling because he doesn't prefer superglue which I liked. Overall I think this is a good visual trick for the camera but not a worker.

Inkling is a really cool affect but as soon as you get it it’s not what you think it is. You have to make a new one every 10 times you do it I’m not going to reveal anything, but, for 35$ it is not worth it. So I recommend not buying it and save your money.

When first watching inkling, it looked like a camera trick! I started the video and wasn't super keen on one of the aspects of the method being used. Luckily, Shin steps in and offers an alternate (and superior) way to get around this without ruining any of the visual moments. I will be using this!
