I'm new to coin magic - I do mainly cards - but must say what a wonderful, well-made made set this
is. You get a split-coin and a "special"-shell which allow you - with some practice - to work
magic!
The DVD on the other hand is home-made and rather poor (otherwise it would have been 5
stars) but you can still follow it.
One slight problem for us UK Magicians is the fact that most
people over hear do not know what an American Half Dollar looks like (with the gold rim around the
side) so they automatically think the coin is gimmicked. (I have got around this by having them look
at and check a normal coin after the first production and then doing a change)

I have not seen a review for this product! I feel it may be overlooked. This is my first Johnny Wong
coin set and I am very impressed with it. I own kreuppers and schoolcraft coins and must say these
coins are just as good. The gaffs are made quite well and anyone with intermediate coin skill can
greatly benefit from this self contained set. To complete some of the routines you will need the
set, and two extra Kennedy halves. The coins I received are current (2011) and yes the Ponta the
Smith preview performances are taught on the DVD. For the price you receive a very versatile set of
gaffed coins.

I never watched the video, so I cannot comment on that. However, the quality of the gaff
disappointed me.
In general, I've been disappointed with the quality of all of the gaffed
coins that I've purchased since re-starting coin magic. I prefer Johnson quality or better, and
Johnson is out of business; even have mixed feelings about my Tango coins but I've improved those
with a little steel wool.
Having custom coins build by the masters is awfully costly,
though...
