ZIPPPPPPP! These inescapable, ultra-tight ZIP TIES OF DEATH take only a few seconds for you to shake free! In fact, bound not only by your wrists with two jumbo 36-inch zip ties, but also with your fingers trapped by two smaller zip ties, you're able to escape with ease!

Everyone knows that a zip tie or cable tie can get so tight it will pop your little hand right off your wrist! However, even though these are tightened enough to turn your hands blue, thanks to a little Poor Boy ingenuity you're able to perform an amazing escape with ungimmicked zip ties, closeup or stage!

Pick two big 'ole huge guys from the audience and have them zip-tie your hands together. ZIPPPPP you're in a tight spot! How on earth can you get out of these? Faster than greased lighting, that's how! While everyone is watching you struggle with the zip ties, they also see from time to time you have a hand free! These are genuine, ungimmicked zip ties, yet you can slip into and out of them as if they were rubber bands!

  • Inspectable, unaltered zip ties!
  • Everything you need, ready to go!
  • Huge impact, closeup or stage!
  • ZIPPPPP it funny! ZIPPPPP it dramatic!
The Poor Boy Zip Tie Escape includes two JUMBO 36-inch wrist shackle zip ties, two FINGER ZIPPER zip ties for the optional fingercuff portion of the trick, and full instructions. You can perform a comedy routine, like the Comedy Rope Escape, or a dramatic feat, such as Metamorphosis or a Mailbag Escape!

Legendary escape artist Norm Bigelow says, "Aaron, I love your zip tie escape! I've never seen anyone use them so effectively. It's a great addition to the world of magic and escapes. Good for you!"

The included zip ties are regular, ungimmicked zip ties! With The Poor Boy Zip Tie Escape, you will learn a subtle technique that makes these amazing routines possible. The spectator tightens the zip ties, yet you're able to escape without any additional moves or pushing any release buttons. It's a Poor Boy product... Small price! Huge impact!

This is a strong example of false advertising. I am a working magician and perform a variety of escapes. Borrowed handcuffs, rope ties, zip ties etc... This advertisement clearly states that you can have spectators just take some zip ties and zip tie your hands fingers etc.. NOT TRUE. They imply it is very freely done. NOT TRUE. You must ensure that they allow you to do it "your way" and they must be clueless as well as being the least observant people in their community. A total waste of money in my opinion UNLESS you are performing for children or extremely elderly folks with terrible vision. The audience members DO NOT get to take the zip ties (not even yours) and place them on you as is described in the advertisement. They must place them, connect them and or close them in the way of the performers choosing. Way too much crowd management for me to consider this impressive, amazing or even viable in the least. I have no problem with crowd management but seriously. This trick will be returned to Penguin. Many many other better choices on this site to choose from. The other two reviewers before me are either dealing with a different type of audience or they are simply way out of my league. More power to them if they are happy with this purchase, however I STRONGLY recommend against buying this. Your audience members (the ones tying you up) must overlook so much that is WAY TOO OBVIOUS. By the way, in my zip tie escape I simply break zip ties (yes standard or even borrowed of any size) right off within about 45 seconds. It is a combination of strength, determination and leverage. The problem is that it then simply becomes an impressive strong man routine, instead of an elegant escape. There is no question in the spectators minds as to how I do it because I prefer to perform without the benefit of cover. They just figure "wow you are freakishly strong". It is cool to see, but I was looking for a less taxing and more mysterious escape. If you doubt me, you must understand that people break standard handcuffs all the time. This review is here for a reason. Trust it. Achilles

False advertisement. Not sure why my first review is still not posted here. I posted it here at least a few days ago. Most of my reviews on Penguin have been for the great products. Mainly 5 stars or maybe 4, but this is just way off the mark. Here is a good analogy of how this escape would be. -----(( Hello folks, I am going to perform a bullet catch. You can bring your own gun & ammo, but I will load it the way I want, you will aim the gun where I want & you will fire precisely when I say. Oh & by the way, be sure not to inspect anything or pay attention at all )) -----. In NO WAY can your spectators bring their own zip ties & place them on you. In NO WAY can your spectators even inspect your pre prepared zip ties. THEY CAN NOT come up & freely place any standard zip ties on you as stated & implied in the advertisement. I will be returning these zip ties to Penguin. I do not appreciated the waste of my postage as well as my time. Then, of course there is the added time of writing a SECOND review to help my fellow performers make well informed choices because for some reason my first well thought out & very honest review was not posted. It does appear a couple people really liked this effect though. Hmmmm. Very perplexing to me. I am curious about the audience. Glad they are happy though. This review is here for a reason. TRUST IT. i love this escape, infact i keep a pair of 8 inch zip ties on my person when i go out and expect to perform. the 8 inch are very easy to find, but the 36 inch zip tie can be a little harder. the large ones are great for stage and even street shows.

over all a great purchase.

This is a great trick for the money. It is a great thing to do with a comedy performance. While a pretty simple concept, they did a great job explaining it. Worth the modest price to add something fun to your routine or just something fun at a party.
