I've owned a copy of Nothing in Transit for a couple years now, and back then it was extremely hard
to purchase a copy since David Forrest only released small batches sporadically throughout the
years, and they always sold out quickly. Needless to say, this is a very visual piece of card magic
and once the spectators start to see the hole visually move across the face of their selection, they
ALWAYS go wild!
Nothing in Transit is a very clever effect and surprisingly not all that
difficult to perform. However, that does not mean you shouldn't put in a few hours of practice so
you can make your performance move seamlessly with the extremely magical and visual nature of the
effect.
I highly suggest purchasing a copy of this effect because knowing David Forrest,
once the batches sell out it can be hard to determine when it will be released again. So if you're
still reading this, stop, and click to add this to your cart and you'll have a wonderful piece of
card magic for your collection and performances!

I have encountered some good effects that have awful explanations or gimmicks of poor quality.
Nothing In Transit has good quality gimmicks and a great explanation. Forrest does a beautiful job
of demonstrating the method in a straighforward and relaxed manner. It's clear he put a lot of
thought into this product. The effect itself is excellent and has gotten great reactions the two
times I have performed it. (Basic card handling skills required.)

This was well thought out and great learning! I have a lot of magic and I really appreciate when I
learn something new and fun. David did a great job at thinking this one through and also does a
very good job teaching technique. It comes with five gimmicked cards and an additional gimmick. I
love the premise of "contacting Acme for a portable hole..." Also, in knowing the method and
learning good technique, I am going to apply the same principle and create some gimmicked business
cards. I love the idea of presenting a blank card with a hole in it, with a label on it that says
"portable hole". I created my own labels that say "Acme.. Portable Hole.. Could be Dangerous, Use
at your own risk". I think this adds a bit more of a comedy flavor to the routine. I Start the
routine with "Did you ever watch the roadrunner and coyote cartoon?... Did you know that the Acme
company that made all the crazy contraptions for the Coyote is based on a real company called Acme
that actually sold crazy contraptions like that? Yes, the company has since gone out of business,
but I managed to get my hands on something really wierd from them. Let me show you..."
I highly
recommend this effect.

This is an amazing and visual effect! It looks like there is actually a hole moving across the card,
and is easy to master. The only negative is that you don't end clean. The spectators will never
know, because they can examine the cards you give them, however the deck will be slightly "dirty".

good, good, good. grab this. this is a kinda underground effect that should be on the main page. its
so visual and its not that hard. i dont really see myself doing this standing up but with a table
youre golden. this is a hot item i recommend for everyone! i recommend practicing a few hrs to get
the transitions smooth. it will look like youre "doing something" if you dont. 5*'s

Great video and gimmicks. With a little practice even a beginner can look great.
