I looked forward to receiving these coins but could not be more disappointed. The backside of the
coins are a sticker. where two stickers meet together, they do not slide and do not work as
advertised. My biggest disappointment was with Penguin magic. I sent them back for a replacement and
ask if they would check the coins they were sending me before shipment. Someone name Ed who is
either dishonest or incompetent sent me coins that are worse than the first set. I have bought well
over 600 products from Penguin and had very few problems in the past. I would not consider asking
for a replacement for anything in the future.

This effect is a crowd-stopper. It's very visual as one coin becomes three, becomes one, and
eventually becomes three other coins completely. While there are sleights involved, there's nothing
that's necessarily going to take months of work to get. Most of the work is done through the miracle
of the coin. I saw this demonstrated at a magic convention recently and every time the dealer
brought it out and started working with it, a crowd would gather.
The coin(s) look nice and
as long as you keep everything moving as in the performance, you'll be fine. The coin doesn't "talk"
as the effect progresses and it's well worth the effort of learning. The only angle issue you have
is no one can be behind you but that's standard for most coin effects. Can you hand the coin out at
the end for examination? That depends on how well you can do a coin switch.

Very pleased with the quality of the coins and the routines provided. Only thing I would say
regarding the coins is that you will likely want to put some crystal clear tape over the top of the
chinese coin stickers so that they will not wear from use.
