At the edge of industry, therein lies Steampunk. Ripped from the pages of science fiction, the gears are turning, the steam is pumping, and the playing cards were finally born. It wasn't easy. Opening the box, you will discover 52 pieces of machinery. The depth of the playing cards is fittingly unreal. So unreal, it beckons you to stare at it's seemingly infinite array of detail. Designed by Alex Beltechi and constructed of 12 million 3D polygons. The Jokers are morphed into jet turbines of steel. The Ace of Spades is a window of opportunity to witness the gears of intricate beauty and complexity. Own a piece of science fiction. Where vintage industry meets reality.

With a name like Streampunk playing cards. They fell short of what I was expecting.THey of course have a nice feel, they are bicycle cards after all but I was expecting all kinds of machinary art work on all the court cards and even with the numbered cards but only the ace of spades had some special art work.

Now, I am not a nay sayer. So I will tell you what cards I did like.I loved the Butterfly Deck.Read my review and I loved the Texan cards for the price and was happy with their art work as well and I loved the OGMA deck.

Listen if you pay extra for a deck of cards, you should at least expect a little extra art work more then your standard pack of cards.

Come out with a streampunk two and I will give it a try and I will let you folks know what I think. If that actually happens I want to write a good review like I did with the butterfly deck and Texan deck.

This deck is cool. Even people who don't know what the heck steampunk is relate to it. The copper color is unusual and striking.
