I picked this up at Magic Live and must say
it is a very good product , the Cards are credit card style and will last a life time , very clear
instruction booklet , all in all very good
Negitive
I am sorry but this comes
with the most over the top packaging I have seen in years
I originally asked why Penguin
could not ship this worldwide in its packaging free deal , I now know why !
A huge
envelope , wrapped in plastic to hold a small booklet and 2 credit cards , the whole package could
have been placed in a small envelope, instead of this huge package , in the UK the post office
charges by the size of the package , so luckily I did not need to order from a dealer as the postage
would have cost double to send this package , hopefully the person that decided on this Ridiculous
packaging will consider more carefully for future releases
I had this on my wish list but
did not order this time from Penguin as simply to post this to the UK would have cost almost as much
as the effect itself
So one star taken off for the packaging , which is not needed at all

I could wish that the club and spade symbols on the calendar card were more easily distinguishable.

Don't really have anything to add that the other reviewers haven't covered already. I just like this
trick a lot and wanted to give it a 5 star rating.
There really isn't anything ground
breaking here, if your an experienced magician you probably have an idea how this works. With that
being said, you get the nice laminated calendar prop and a little miracle you can always have on
you.
I have just a regular billfold wallet and have this arranged out perfectly in said
wallet. So if you don't own some type of magic wallet and don't want to buy one, you needn't worry.
This is an amazing, flexible and highly customizable little trick. Get it.
This shrunken take on a classic premise is without a doubt the best for walk around casual dress,
when wearing my blazer I carry 'Chronologue' which is this trick's pappy so-to-speak. The cards are
nicely printed and laminated but can be difficult for your spectator to discern in low light
conditions. This is no big deal however since you can assist them if needed (it's a prediction
trick, not a mind reading one). To do the trick as described you'll need a wallet, and preferably a
specialized one, to isolate 5 different predictions from each other for a clean reveal. I actually
built a deck that allows for 5 separate discoveries, the 2 laminated cards fits in the case as well
(Yes, for the price you get 2 printed and laminated cards). So basically I made a card case
variation to eliminate the wallet all together.
For the price you may feel a little
ripped off for what you get, but considering the effect and it being something you'll be able to do
indefinitely, makes it a good deal in my opinion.
This is a wallet-sized version of Bob Cassidy's classic Chronologue effect. Instead of carrying
around pocket diaries with a playing card written in for each date entry, you get small, durable
cards that serve the same purpose. This is a brilliant example of "packs flat, plays big" because
you can keep the effect in your wallet at all times to pull out as part of an impromptu routine. One
note: For maximum effectiveness, you will need to have an Heirloom or other utility wallet for the
prediction. Those familiar with Chronologue will know what I mean.
This is a great way to do a diary effect and CAAN. I love how portable this is. I carry around an
Heirloom wallet as my every day wallet so this is a great addition.
