One of my best purchases and for a great price! It has been the perfect tool for one of my sets.

I picked up this deck via the recommendation of Luke Jermay in "Jermay's Mind." While I have experience with regular marked decks, this is my first ESP marked deck. I'm very happy with it and see so many possible routines.

The key to the marking system is that it takes one stroke to make a circle, two strokes to make a plus, etc. Mentalists will be well-attuned to this notion already. And yet, even knowing this, one is hard-pressed to see the markings on this deck unless it is pointed out. Very impressive. I'm so tempted to explain the "key" to a layperson and ask if they can figure out the markings.

Cards are made with top-quality stock, just what you would hope for in any regular deck.

One aspect of detail that isn't readily apparent: the backs feature an eye design around which is written: "Developed and Tested in Parapsychology Laboratory." A nice detail! Depending on your presentation and your audience, you could easily say, "These ESP cards aren't really available to the general public. I picked these up when I was testing" or "being tested..." etc etc etc.

One last thing: the cost? What a fantastic value! It's a no-brainer. You will find yourself (as I am) seeking out new routines you can use with a marked ESP deck.

This is the BEST reader back ESP deck out there. I have THIS and the companion book. In fact, I own ESP 3 and I love this more - the symbols are way easier to read for my old eyes

I bought these because I bought the original Origns deck which I love and I wanted a extra black deck. For a inexpensive ESP deck these are going to be VERY hard to beat.
They look and feel nice ... the marking system has a nice balance of being subtle enough that a layman isn't likely to catch it... Without being so well hid that the magi can't find them at glance. I was rather disappointed it did NOT come with any gaffs but, again, look at the price.

For the $ you get the full package as is SWEET! then again if you want a inexpensive set of basic Marked ESP cards these are your babies!
