Intuition ACAAN is a new approach to a classic plot. It provides a very relevant and personal experience for the spectator that is missing in many ACAAN effects. The spectator freely selects a suit and 3 random single digit numbers. The first two numbers become a position in the deck while the third number is used as the card value. Without touching the deck, the spectator counts down to find their card at the chosen position.

No sleights

No dealing from the bottom. It will always be from the top of the deck.

The performer will never touch the deck after the selections are made.

Does not use a memorized deck.

Very easy to do.

Performance shown in the trailer is a "best case" scenario. For it to work 100% of the time, selection of digits needs to be more contrived than shown. Also, free selection of suit has its "downsides" (i.e. no. of decks in play).
It looked as an interestingly fair effect (with any restrictions seeming obvious). But in real performance would not be as "clean" as advertised.

Has some limitations but is the holy grail Report this review

Seriously. This IS the Holy Grail of ACAAN's. You don't touch the deck at all and the card is at the number. Or it will be the next one which is not a big deal. To have a truly free selection of the suit, yes you need to make four decks and each deck takes 8 decks to create but it is so worth it! Besides if you create one deck then you already have the cards for the other three so why not make all four decks, one for each suit?

So... the number selection process is a bit odd. I am sti trying to figure out how to word the instructions for the selection process because if I say give me three numbers that are not next to each other, the first one being less than five... I will sometimes get something like 275. Or 193. Or 472. So I'm wondering if in that case I would just use the highest number as the suit and give them a choice of number using the other two digits.

So aside from that, if you can subtract two single digit numbers and memorize the numbers 4 and 3 you can do this trick.

It's easy to do, requires no sleight of hand, and looks as good as it does in the demo. I just wish more detail went into explaining the section process.
