The cups are almost perfect...they seem made of good quality material, but maybe the mouth of the
cups could be a bit wider!!
The "big" issue is that the balls provided are TOO big!
The cups can barely nest 2 of them and the classic Dai Vernon's routine is impossible to perform
because 3 balls can't be nested all together. :(
That was a big delusion!

This cups and balls set looks and feels solid AND is decently priced. Good buy!
So let me just start by saying that I am an amateur magician, and I really was just looking for a
starting point on such a time honored classic. Having said that, I own the Michael Ammar C&B series
(both volumes) and I am able to do most of the moves in the DVD with these cups. They have a nice
clinking noise, but no ringing sound (no worries, just so anyone needs to know). Mine didn't arrive
with any blemishes, they aren't super shiny, but I'm sure that could be fixed if I wanted them to
look brighter. I like them the way they are. My only complaint really at all is that the crochet
balls have no weight to them at all, and for me and my hands, they are a little too big (I think
they are 1 inch, but not positive). I have been practicing with some weighted monkey fist ones that
were hand made with fishing weights inside, and I like them much better. This is a good set. Maybe
it won't hold up on the streets with lots of pounding from a drum stick and it may not be for a
stage perform slamming them around everyday, but it works for me. Thanks!
My 1st set of cup and balls and I love them - well crafted and nice looking
