On his European television series, Royle presented this as a scientific experiment where drops of beer placed on the top of bottle caps would bubble up if there was a coin hidden underneath them.

On stage he has used it as a demonstration of "muscle reading" without the need for any kind of skill in muscle reading.

It can also be used as a lie detector test or proof of your mastery of body language and eye assessing cues.

In short five bottle caps which can be borrowed from behind the bar are examined and confirmed to be 100% ungimmicked.

A volunteer places a small coin under one of the bottle caps while your back is turned or even while you are out of the room.

Yet instantly you know exactly which bottle cap the coin is under and it can be repeated time and time again without anyone ever discovering the cheeky, simple, but yet highly effective and baffling secret.

Well you are gonna pay 10$ for something that you might thought one day in your magic career.In my case,when i was a kid and i read my first magic book it had a trick similar to this with only 3 objects and the secret was the same with this one.You will be mad when you will find out how its done,but in a real life performance make sure you put a lot of crappy nonsense kind of procedure so no one will think that you are doing something simple like that.

I really like the concept of this but this purchase was a major disappointment. Without giving anything away, you can't perform it anytime, anywhere without a 'special setup.' Even the presenter looks embarrassed when he quickly reveals the method, which he prolongs revealing until the final 20 seconds of the download. Good concept, but it's not a trick that I'm likely to perform.

This would be such a great trick to win free beers at a party or gig…or even just to do on a whim with other borrowed objects (which you can do, you’re not limited to beer or bottle caps), but the method is so underwhelming it’s hard not to be disappointed.

The downloaded comes with a short PDF, which includes two YouTube links: one to the TV show on which this was performed, and another to a lecture that he gave to magicians explaining the principle.

I don’t want to give the method away so I’ll say that it’s not the kind of trick you can practice alone but it should work 100% of the time.
