CHOP GLASS - Created by Alan Hudson
The Chop Cup has become a classic of magic for stage and close-up magicians.
You can now perform this amazing effect with a borrowed wine glass. Even though everything can be examined, the 'Chop Glass Cloak' fits snugly around the glass, instantly gimmicking it for your routine.

The Chop Glass is not only sophisticated and elegant, it also provides you with new, visual ways to produce 'loads.' These are fully explained by Tom Wright in his professional, audience-tested routine for the Chop Glass.
The package comes with your individually handmade Chop Glass Cloak and two traditional balls.

"I have always loved the appeal of the effect the Chop Cup gives an audience...but I HATE the cup itself. Who pulls out a metal cup? With Chop Glass, you get class and mystery all wrapped into one single BRILLIANT gimmick. THIS is a WORKER of the highest order!"
- Justin Miller

Good but.... Report this review

I like the idea and the routine. The cover looks nice and seems well constructed.
However, the main button fell off after 2 minutes. The thread just seemed to melt off. I am not sure how it was sewn on but it was not by conventional method.

The main problem I have though is the amount of force that is needed to dislodge the ball. I need to either find a much heavier ball or one with a weaker magnet. It's comical how hard I have to slam the glass down at this point.
I did have another set of balls from another chop set but its the same result. Maybe the gimmick needs to be a bit weaker.

Any venue with a wine glass/table is your stage. If you're at a bar/restaurant, they can provide you with lemons. SWEET! or should I say sour???

Weddings are hit or miss for procuring lemons on site, but you can get those easily many places.

Make sure you get crocheted chop balls that are magnetically adjustable. Read the COMMENT from zimsalabim from the 3 star REVIEW titled, "Good but..." on "March 21st, 2017".

If you're a professional (this means you've gotten paid to perform) purchase 2-3.
1. One for your car B.O.B. (Emergency show),
2. you're main one for paid gigs, and
3. you're EDC (dress rehearsal i.e. the one you practice on strangers to keep your, "CHOPS" up.

Yeah I did it....

And you loved it don't deny your inner punny bone.
