I have a pretty good collection of color changing knives starting with some Merrill's from back in
the 70's. I was a little concerned with the "thickness" of this set (it's a 2 blade knife) and the
requisite move. Rest assured that is not a problem and I really like the double bolsters and the
fact there is a "slit" to open the blades on both sides. I wish all manufacturer's of cck's included
that feature! The "Mother of Pearl" and "Bone" textures are perfect These are real knives and they
are sharp so be aware. It looks like they will be manufacturing a "Rainbow/MoP" and "Red/MoP" knife
soon so I am keeping my wallet prepared!!

Rodger did himself proud with these knives. Outstanding quality and feel. A joy to use!

These knives are very well made. Make me wonder what to do with the cheap ones I had for a while.
The knives handle great. The rough and smooth side make it easy to keep track where you are in the
handling. Professional set worth the price. Penguin Magic again beat everyone’s price. Happy to get
these knives .

Excellent quality. Very impressed. Best set ive had. Plus the roughness and smooth on the knives
make performing much easier. No routine provided but I would highly recommend Darylls Fooler Doolers
or Pop Haydns Intricate Web of Distraction. Definately Recommend

It isn't often that the press for a product is matched with the quality of the product- but this is
one of those rare circumstances. These knives feel good for magic, feel good as knives for
whittling, and are beautiful little works of art in an of themselves. They don't come with any set
routine, but it's easy enough to buy "Knives and Color Blindness" or Whit Hayden's routine if you're
not inspired to create your own. As for me, these have been in my vest pockets or my hands since I
got them.

These knives are very high quality and have a good weight to them. The contrast is very nice and the
texture difference is a plus as well. I do question as to why they have two blades? I feel that one
blade and thus a slightly thinner knife might have been better. The two blades don't line up well
either as they need to be bent slightly to fit which makes it a little difficult to open the blades
if necessary. The thickness affects the balance slightly as well. In other words, when the knives
are laying flat on your open palm they have a tendency to want to roll over on edge. Just something
to watch out for, you might keep a thumb on the knife just to be safe. Overall, a quality product,
great looking set.

This is not a review on this product but a question. I have been doing magic since I was in
elementary school and I still have my original color changing knives. Back then it was OK for a kid
to bring a pocket knife to school but over the last 50 years a pocket knife is not a common item to
pull out of your pocket anymore. In fact, some people would be a little shocked to see a pocket
knife pulled out in a bar or a restaurant and you certainly can’t take one on an airplane. Does
anybody know of a magic trick similar to color changing knives that uses a more common acceptable
object but the same paddle move principle?
