In itself a very nice and rubuste box with attractive solid wood. But with mine, one drawer was
sluggish and the other was not evenly flush at the front and the top slot was crooked. I had to
spend some time with fine sandpaper to get this somewhat corrected. A glued brass button is also a
real weak point for me, should definitely be screwed tightly in the wood.

I've read the other reviews was hesitant to buy but glad I did found no flaws like some others found
a nice piece for my collection I gave it a four because of the price

This had potential to be really great, but turned out to be expensive firewood.
Great design and
good size, but the standard of workmanship was terrible. The drawers need to slide with ease, yet
the first one I had was distorted and wouldn’t open. Penguin were amazing and replaced without
hesitation. The replacement was worse. I tied an oak footstool to the drawer and it lifted it off
the ground rather than opening the drawer….. so stiff.
If the manufacturer took a tiny bit of
pride in the product they could have had a 5* product…… Only positive was that Penguin dealt with
the issues with 6 stars…

This is an excellent piece of art, beautifully crafted and subtly designed. I was wary at first that
when the spectators would handle the box that something would flash, however, the manufacturer was
smart enough to add little magnets to make sure that the second drawer never goes out.
I will
definitely be using this prop in my performances.
The box also looks like a miniature
version of a bedside drawer. This can be built into a dream vs reality routine with the invisible
deck that ends with the spectator writing the name of the card on a flash paper, lighting and
throwing it towards the box for a spectacular appearance later on.

I want to start off saying that seldom am I ever disappointed with purchases from Penguin (I’ve
spent thousands of dollars here over the years. I also own several pieces from TCC. All pieces I’ve
purchased have been nothing but tip quality and professional grade products. I’m extremely
disappointed that 1.Penguin would send me this product and 2.TCC quality control would let this
product be sold to the public.
The box I received doesn’t even come close to functioning
the way it should.
The fit and finish are poor.
The glued on knob fell off the 4th or 5th
time I opened the drawer!
Yes it’s glued on!
I’m scratching my head here and wondering if I
just got something for the wish website. Seriously! WTF TCC and Penguin! No wonder you have this
product discounted at 20%
I’m really hoping this was a one off problem but now that I’m reading
the comments, the more discouraged I feel. 🤬

Nice wood, but the carpentry is bad. The drawer does not fully fit into the box when closed, and the
"hidden" space of the double drawer cannot be fully hidden as it doesn't close all the way either.
The price was discounted, perhaps because the ones being sold are seconds or otherwise didn't pass
quality control? In any event, the quality is not what was expected for the cost. I cannot recommend
this.

The idea has been around for a long time, but this treatment — materials and mechanics — with this
version takes the effect to a new level. This can easily be worked into a number of other effects
and to set the tone for your performance. Things appearing out of nowhere and you’re off to a great
start.
Why did I give it a 4? The small knob came off on arrival — faulty gluing.

This can be used in so many ways. The quality of the box is dead on for the cost. I was a little
wary of a relatively expensive gimmick, but you are getting what you pay for here- a high quality
piece of work.
The invisible deck is already one of the most powerful effects in terms of
crowd response, but adding the Anything Box to it and pulling out an "invisible deck" from the empty
drawer, doing the invisible deck patter, and then actually producing the deck from the drawer is so
freaking cool.

Just received mine, this is very well made and loads of fun. It's worth the money just for being
able to make the "Invisible Deck" appear. I even have my invisible deck in the box that Penguin
sells which is made for the deck which makes the production even cooler. This is Very Cool!!

Fortunately, I have a friend who is a good carpenter and he was able to modify the box so that the
drawer slides reasonable well now. I can't remember the specifics but he did say it was "over glued"
and he needed to clean it up so the drawer would slide easily. It's still a little sticky but the
"magic" is great and a good size to use with poker size playing cards - use your imagination.
