I didn't even finish the video and I already know I'm using this, the impression looks really nice,
and I used a sharpie too over a few sheets of paper, when I first got it, I saw the 'gimmick" I
thought to myself "what is this?" (In a batman voice) then saw the video... this is so smart, no
magnets, it can be done on the fly, but what I find weird is the reset, it's like a banana... then
redoing the banana, and you're already set,me personally I think this is way better then psypher (cuz
you can use basically any writing tool) and you get 2 of them!!... I just love this, and the pad you
get doesn't even look sketchy I think imma get more once I'm done being broke.

Be sure and watch the entire video on handling the notebook. Then experiment with the notebook,
different writing implements, and how many pages are the maximum you can use to steal the
information.. The more pages, the better. I wasn’t totally happy with Cogni until I used a gel pen
with a bold tip (1mm). I can use six pages and no bleed through. The image is bold and clear. Be
sure to practice resetting. For the best image don’t press too hard are too lightly when resetting.
Finally, don’t let the notebook sit too long after resetting before you use it. You won’t get a
clear image. I use as soon as possible after I reset it.

I've purchased too many impression/peek devices in the past. And I have to say this is just ok. Yes,
a great idea and quite deceptive, however, a few things doesn't work that well in the real world.
1. The impression is not super easy to read, especially if you do the "fold in half and tear
away" instruction to spectator. That makes the impression even harder to read if they really fold it
like they mean it.
2. Since the impression is based on dark background, if the lighting in the
room is dim, this will be even harder to read. Or maybe my vision is just that bad.
3. The whole
thing about using any pen is a bit misleading. Yes you can use any pen, but there are some pens that
will work better and leave clearer impressions. (And that is not sharpie)

Its a great idea, so clever. An excelent tool for mentalist and magicians. Easy to do, easy to
reset.

I love the idea of a pad that requires no special or dedicated writing implement; however, the
trade-off is an imp pad that is not practical in the real world. This requires being re-set just
before being used; further, it requires excellent lighting conditions and audience management that
requires the spectator to write and draw as large as possible. I cannot recommend this in good
conscience.

I've seen and owned just about every kind of impression pad. Each method has its advantages and
disadvantages. I had no idea exactly how Cogni worked until I got it, and then I struck my forehead
with the palm of my hand and said to myself, "Of course. This uses a gimmick that Richard Osterlind
taught on one of his DVDs. I think it's from Al Mann." Yep, it's an old concept, but applied to
these normal-looking little note pads, it's pretty much the bomb. The imp is excellent, and you
don't need a special pen and a m*****. Or pricey electonrics.
You're basically buying $10
worth of stuff and the other $25 goes to learning the secret because once you play with this, you'll
easily be able to make your own for about $5 a pad from Amazon. Sure, there might be better gimmicks
of their kind on the market, but for this price, Cogni is fantastic.
I've made up a
stockpile of gimmicked pads, and I'm keeping them all over the place--in my close-up bag, at home,
at the office, in my car, in my pocket... And why not? I'll always be able to do some great
mentalism anywhere I am. You can't beat that.

If you are a well versed mentalist this tool can provide you with fresh ideas and it's also very
practical for your repertory.
If you are considering to become a mentalist, this tool is
everything you've waiting for so you can take your performances to the next level!
It's
totally practical, it works with close-up magic, parlour and on stage as well, you don't need any
pens or special markers, and it isn't technically difficult either.
The idea is very
simple, but completely functional in the real world, it's one of those things that make you say "Why
didn't I think about this before?"
It's truly a geniality, I've already used it in many
occasions on my shows and it always gets amazing reactions
It's a reputation maker!

This is amazing, a tool that does not look suspicious and works with ANY kind of pen, very well
explained and with some good ideas for performing.
I Think this will be in muy to-go case
forever.

I’m not sure if what I got was a mistake or not. My Cogni pads didn’t come with gimick on them.
When I reached out, it was suggested that I add my own gimick. I feel like this could have just been
a download. This purchase didn’t sit well with me; however, I like the idea and training wasn’t
bad.
