I like these UV cards but even though I would still buy them, I can only give them 3plus. To get 4 or 5 you have to sort out your faults in pre-production. It is a massive shortcoming that the Courts for Diamonds have no UV effect and for the Clubs there is only a miniscule hint of a single horn. Looking at the Kickstarter page you may think this is intentional (and if so insane) but the single horn on the King of Clubs makes me wonder if it was a production failure. The Spades and the Hearts are good and all the number cards and Jokers work really well under UV. Next time all the Courts please. You could have put less work into the Devil's Contract on the interior of the box as who is going to take their tuck apart to read it - and strangely for a UV deck, it and all the Tuck highlights show up best under white light. I only bought the cobalt blue as I thought it looked the most effective. UV fanatics should still buy them but I am looking forward to even better from Darkside in the future

This deck along with it's counter parts on ted and gold are absolutely amazing. Beautiful deck of cards and the artwork on the tuck cases is outstanding. Had a little hiccup with a couple cards in each deck, but the phenomenal people at penguin magic went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and got sent replacement cards! Such a great buying experience.
