The Effect: The magician is seen holding a beautiful rose. He gestures at it and suddenly the magician slowly lets go of the rose and it clings to his hand. He moves his hand away from the rose to show it suspended in mid air. The rose now floats up and down and side to side, in front of the performer. At the conclusion, the rose descends back to the performer's waiting hand.

Note: the rose could be red, yellow, or white.

I found this really easy to use. Not sure why anyone else was having a problem.... must be "card magicians" trying stage magic. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I just wish it had a DVD. This is NOT a close-up effect, so be aware you need to be on stage to perform it. Overall, a very good and easy effect. Much better than the Acrobatic Rose on the market now, because you dont need any cloth for covers.

I purchased this Simplex Floating Rose and was very pleased with the quality of the rose because it look sooooo real!

I also found it very easy to use. I am not sure why anyone would have a hard time using. If you have ever used a Zombie or any similar effect, then this will be second nature to you.

i am very unimpressed with its floating gimmick.

This effect is not suitable for beginners (Evangelista wrote to me that it was suitable for "beginner level").

You need a lot of practice and unsuitable if you do not have some control over the lighting in the performance area. Suitable for stage performance - not for closeup and parlour.
