Effect

The magician holds a small mysterious object in his hands, “Have you ever seen this?" Its actually a cocoon. He invites the spectator to hold out her hand and hold on tight.

The Magician explains, “This was once a caterpillar and now its going through a metamorphosis, soon it will turn into a butterfly. However if we were to try and free it we would actually kill it. It has to go through its struggles and fight its way out and when it does it will be transformed into something beautiful. Kind of like the trials and bad times that we sometimes go through, however when we make it to the other side we become a better and stronger person from it. Do you feel it breaking out? Open your hand."

The Spectator opens her hand to reveal the cocoon is completely cracked open. Every ones attention is now drawn to the fact that there seems to be a butterfly on her shoulder! The magician takes the butterfly from her, “Here let me have it I'll let it outside so it won’t get hurt."

Comes complete with prop cocoon and butterfly and one page of instructions.
