Anthony Owen gives us a lot of incredible magic in this book. Almost the entire first half of the
book deals with effects done using the same principle and item. The item isn't readily available in
the U.S. but a variation can be made with just a little effort. That being said, if you aren't
interested in creating/using that product, almost the first half of the book isn't going to give you
a lot (though you can use the effects to inspire you to create some great effects of your own).
The remainder of the book is filled with fabulous stuff. Anthony does a masterful job of
explaining the effects, and closes the book out with great information on doing magic on television.
I have a lot of magic books in my library and I have to say this one definitely deserves
the shelf space. If you are willing to put in the time and effort to create the items needed
(especially the lottery trick toward the end of the book) you'll have some killer magic that folks
will be talking about.
