Sometimes you just want to switch it up.
My bias is that I am a fan of the hometown hombre
Jay Sankey. I like his grounded approach and I really appreciate his teaching style. Unfortunately
the download is not Sankey teaching the effect. So if you are looking for the Sankey teaching style
with added ad libs for performance pointers - splurge for Devil's Tail instead (same concept and
handling). Nevertheless, the instructions for this are still clear and direct just not Sankey.
Super visual and because it is done with everyday objects it has that added element of the
ability to be impromptu. Since the premier is removing a key from a string (flashbacks for latch
key kids I'm sure) this may seem more natural for a younger performer unless you can pull off a
natural approach to why you have a key on a string.
The included props are durable but can
be found anywhere. Really you're paying for the tutorial on the effect and handling (a cheaper
alternative to Devil's Tail) so this could have had a download only option.
