Hands down, this is the best ring flight you’re ever going to get. Sure, it’s a bit pricey, but not
too bad, and that only limits the competition of others in your working area of doing the same thing
and is an investment you won’t regret. I have a generic version and wanted to purchase this one for
the lighter weight and, primarily, the aluminum spindle. The only reason I give this four stars
instead of five, is that the locking mechanism isn’t as strong and as consistent on this BMW version
as it is on my generic version. And that is inherent with the way this one has to be constructed.
It’s not a big deal, but because of how I present the spectator’s ring, it is important to me.
There is actually something super simple you can do to bump up the consistency of the effectiveness
of the locking mechanism, but because the item doesn’t come with the one small item that you could
opt to use for that, it gets 4 stars. Otherwise, this is excellent and there is not, and I’m
convinced never will be, a better ring flight.
