Ehhh- Lennart is a genius with cards but this effect is a disappointment given its price. Should have been a $5 download. You probably have already figured it out anyway and you'd be correct- basic sleight of hand 101. The supplied prop is not necessary to the effect- you can obtain this prop at at hobby store for pennies and really the idea is not specific to the prop anyway.
