You can probably figure out by the presentation that there is some kind of a gimmick in play here. AND there is.
So the props are not examinable and -in my opinion- the performer needs to be out of sight for a second, to perform the escape, in order to avoid giving any clues to the audience.
The explanation video is short but gives you everything you need to know about the escape.

All those being siad, I think this is a cool idea and it has real potential with some adjustments to the presentation. I like it and I am definetely going to find a use for it.
