I have been doing Magic/Illusions for around 40 years. I am semi-professional, and its hard to
believe, I've just now got around to learning and starting to perform the Cups and Balls. I've had
a couple of cheaper sets - all too light-weight and just didn't feel comfortable when I used them,
or 'sounded right' when appropriate. Plus, currently I can't afford the $250-$350+ gold plated,
bigger name brand cups because of my budget. However, I "took a chance" and after literally months
of looking, doing research, making comparisons, & and considering price, I ordered these cups.
BOTTOM LINE: These cups are FANTASTIC! They have a noticeable but comfortable weight - you know the
cups are there without their being too heavy, and definitely not too light. They sound GREAT and
Handle and Look FANTASTIC. They look PROFESSIONAL. Currently, they are my FAVORITE Cups and Balls.
My only fear is in sharing this, they will 'run out' and if I ever need another set, they won't be
available.
How wide are the bottoms? Are you able to load anything large or medium under them. Second question: how easy is it to do front loads (including fake loads). I ask the second question because I have found that if the cup's bottom is small, it is hard loading two balls (one ball the audience is aware; the second ball is palmed) with a third ball hidden in the cup: I have found that it is very hard to load a palmed ball and a visible ball under a small cup with a hidden ball, so is it easy to do this with these cups? Thank you.
