Minus 1 star--price:
As stated in the tutorial, the gimmick is especially expensive to produce.
I suspect that the cost of the trick is at least as dependent on this fact as on the quality of the
effect.
Minus 1 star--unnecessary gimmick:
As shown in the demo video, the trick is
very visual and gets satisfactory audience response; however, in addition to the gaffed coin, the
trick requires some small proficiency with sleight of hand. I suspect that anyone already possessed
of such coin handling skill could achieve similarly pleasing results without the gaff.
I'm confused. If you're aware that the gimmick is expensive to produce how can you blame the creator or distributor for the price; is that really fair? Did you expect that for you they would sell this for less even though their cost is more?
Unnecessary gimmick? Isn't this being sold as a gimmick coin; so why would you think it's unnecessary? Didn't you purchased this knowing it was a routine with a gimmick coin.
What's your review of the effect and use of the gimmick? Shouldn't stars be assigned based on the effect?
jstevew's response was so perfect and what I wanted to say that I simply copied and pasted it because it need be stated again. I really cannot stand the people in the world with their nose in the air attitudes and their lack of thinking before they speak/write skills. What a snob.

The gimmick is not expensive to make. It’s not.
I made 3 this morning in moments, with different coins. If you have the tool needed, you could make hundreds of these for $40.
It's possible that the OP here meant "inexpensive" not "expensive"
