I was convinced to buy this because of a video review claiming "these are not just simple marked
deck tricks, there's multiple layer of deceptions in here!"
The first trick is "glimpse the
marking", reveal the card.
Another one is "use the one way feature", reveal the card.
Another one is "use the marking" for Bob Hummer's m***l m***e. Really? I was hoping for a haha!
moment but so far nothing. I love Phill Smith's work, he is a genius, but this booklet is
definitively sub-par by his own standards.
I haven't finished the book as there might be an
actual gem and the reason is...
...this book is really hard to read. Making it look like a
passport is a cute idea. Pushing it to the limit with the choice of the font face, size and page
background? Not so good. I am in my forties, my vision is not at the apex, but I normally don't need
glasses. This booklet is literally HARD to READ.
I will amend this review if I find a trick
really worth the purchase. Best suggestion for the deck owners out there is to use the feature of
the deck with tricks that don't require a marked deck at all: C3 or devastation are great examples
and you would be using layers impossible to backtrack to accomplish miracles.
