I purchase quite a bit of magic from various dealers and have for many years. This is BY FAR the
worst purchase I have EVER made! It's like buying a $100,000 House only to discover that when it
comes time to move in you, there's NO HOUSE but only a stack of 2x4's and plywood on the lot and YOU
HAVE TO BUILD THE FREAKING HOUSE! AND not everything is there to accomplish the task. You provide
the tools, pipe, electrical wiring, so its off to the building supply store...
I urge
Penguin to include a disclaimer in the description as to whether the effect in question is a 100%
Arts & Crafts project, (Y)es or (N)o...
I'm through buying DIY projects that should come
assembled.
OH and the video tutorial is HORRIBLE!!
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
Hi ya' Ron,
First, thanks for being a brave soul, as was the anonymous contributor from Vegas, for making the purchase of a product that had no reviews and then writing one. A lot of other folks, including me, were probably waiting for somebody to do just that.
I did not buy this item, so I cannot comment on this specifically, but I agree with you regarding DIY. I would much rather pay additionally for a professionally produced gimmick rather than having to make one. The time, money and effort to construct a gimmick is probably more than the difference between an arts and crafts and a ready to learn illusion. And the quality of an included gimmick would likely be better.
Are we in the minority here?
Thanks again and Happy Magic,
Rick
