I bought this from a dealer other than Penguin, but I buy a lot from Penguin, and they have the best
forum in my opinion for trick reviews. The two stars is not for the trick itself, but rather, in my
opinion, a sneaky deal by the manufacturer of this trick. First, the trick is not bad and the method
is good. It's not complicated and works and looks like it does in the trailer. I like the trick and
I think it is a likeable effect for a lot of magicians. The deck is gimmicked, but could also be
used for other effects, if caution and care is used. Secondly, the problem I have with what I
received is that the manufacturer makes the gimmicked deck out of Bicycle "SECONDS." So you pay the
premium price for crappy cards. They even come in the special Bicycle tuck case marked "Seconds."
The borders on the deck I received is horrible. There may be 1/4" or more white border on any given
end or side and 1/8th of an inch or less on the opposing side. That is for me unacceptable. I don't
use cards for exhibition that look uneven and does not have even borders. Some of the backs are not
only heavily uneven borders, but are also printed on the back crooked, or angled. So it is my
opinion that when a premium price is paid, a premium product should be delivered. These guys turned
a trick that could have been good into something not worth purchasing. Sorry they did that, because
from here forward I will disregard and pay no mind to any of their products.
