Firstly, this is a great rethinking of an older idea, reframed entirely. I will use this, a lot.
Perfect little gambling piece, you can present it as influence, chance, a prediction. Seriously,
It's 8 normal envelopes and whatever you want to put in them - go wild. You could even use business
cards.
BUT - who thought presenting the video, using BLACK ENVELOPES on a BLACK TABLE, in a
BLACK BOOTH was a great idea?!?! WOW. They deserve a spanking and the video deserves a reshoot.
In short, great routine/poor directing.
Could you help confirm if the selection by the audience is actually done 2 envelopes at a time (as this seems to be the case in the video)?
I can confirm that the spectator is given a free choice between two envelopes each time, for the first three times. The last choice between two envelopes only “appears” to be a free choice. Can’t say anything more without revealing the method.
Thanks for your feedback. Fully understand your comment about the last choice ;-)
Is this done the same way as Paul Gordon’s ( head to head poker) ? Because Paul’s head to head poker could achieve the same results. I own head to head poker so if it’s done the same way I don’t want to waste money on this, however if is not the same method I would purchase this immediately! Hope you can help me out here. Thanks!
Johnnyhatter, it's not very far away from Paul's Head to Head.
Thanks Tomsc! Much appreciated.
YES...the black envelopes on a black on a black surface...sheer stupidity but a
great Bank Night routine on steroids.
