There's plenty of great material in this lecture, all workable, usable stuff. Charlie is a real
old-style entertainer and sometimes a little old-fashioned for me but his knowledge, ability and
skill are all on point.
Charlie's sometimes silly humour requires a certain innocence to
enjoy, which I certainly couldn't feel from the audience. So many of Charlie's quips fell flat
against the silence of a really cold audience, which I found annoying and disappointing, since we're
all supposed to be in this together aren't we? A little support for the performer would be nice.
Instead many of Charlie's tricks ended with a flourish and a gap where applause should have been.
I think Charlie derserves better because he was working his a** off to entertain. The
audience was the only thing that made this lecture less enjoyable, Charlie did a good job and shared
plenty.
