To begin with the demonstrator put out a demo that made the gimmick seem like the second coming. And
I should have know better because I saw him demo once live and he was much better than the tricks.
But here is the thing this is a utility switching device that works well but that’s all it is for
$45. It’s up to you. The book test has almost nothing to do with gimmick.
And they keep saying
it can be done with any book. True, if you do arts and crafts on the book and don’t hand it out.
Really misleading in my eyes.
It does do switching which makes writing vanish and appear no
question. But what does that add? Lastly the tutorial only really shows two tricks. The book test
and card to box. Maybe they should do a face book group like they have for Level One. Those guys
know what they’re doing. Any way thumbs Dow for me unless you have an exact need to switch sticky
pads.
Juxtapad is incredible. Period. It's powerful easy and direct. Don't understand the criticism.
The demo and ad seems clear to me. Clear enough that I know this does not fit my repertoire. Also, call me an easy mark, I've been buying and performing magic for 49 years, but I've always trusted Mark Mason products.

I'm sorry if my reply sounded mean, that was not at all my intention.
As I told the original reviewer, I am more than available to help him out with any of his doubts. What I was meaning to say in my original reply was that the ad copy is not lying in any way: you receive a gimmicked pad which allows for the vanishing, changing and appearing of ink on it. We are not selling the book test, it is just the main routine. It even says so in the ad copy:
"Juxtapad comes with several routines and ideas. Here is my absolute favorite!"
In conclusion, I understand that this release will not be liked by everyone, but I would like to clarify that I am always willing to help out to make it work and suit everyone's necessities.

Hey man,
It is true that the gimmick is only used in the book test for one part, but we are not forcing that routine on you at all. If it wasn't clear enough (which I thought it was), what you receive is a gimmicked post it pad which allows for the appearance, vanish, and change of ink written on it. That simple. The vanish of writing on the pad is what is used for the book test. Aside from that, there are 2 full routines explained, and some other ideas thrown out. Our goal when releasing this was for the customer to come up with their own routines.
The idea of a Facebook group is great, and I will pass it on to Mark so that we can make that happen. If you need any help with any routines, message me on Facebook and I can give you some of the routines that I do.

I’ve purchased this - where are the online instructions? Are they provided w the product on arrival?
If you act like it’s just a Post It Pad, there’s no reason for anyone to check ... why run when there’s no need to hide ...?
