Juxtapad is more than just a magic trick. It allows you to perform numerous effects. Imagine being able to make any word, any number, any picture or anything you like VANISH or APPEAR at will from a STICKY NOTE PAD. NO SPECIAL PENS, NO SPECIAL INKS.

Juxtapad comes with several routines and ideas. Here is my absolute favorite!

It goes like this:

ANY BOOK in ANY LANGUAGE is flipped through, until a spectator says STOP. They are asked to remember the page number and the first word on that page. The book is closed and laid on the table. You pick up a mini sticky note pad. With NO QUESTIONS OF ANY KIND, you write down ONE word and ONE page number.

For the first time, they are asked to name the page and their word. You turn over the pad to reveal the EXACT WORD AND PAGE NUMBER. BUT WAIT -- THERE'S MORE!
THIS IS SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE.

The pad is placed onto the spectator's hand. You claim you will make their word vanish. The pad is turned over; the writing has gone. You ask if they can remember their page number. The book is now opened to that page. THE STICKY NOTE WITH THEIR WORD AND PAGE NUMBER IS NOW STUCK ON THAT VERY PAGE.

The above routine is an absolute KNOCKOUT.

KEY NOTES TO REMEMBER:

  • NO SPECIAL PENS - USE ANY PEN YOU LIKE
  • NO VANISHING INKS
  • NO PALMING ANYTHING AWAY
  • NO ADDING ANYTHING
Comes complete with your custom-built Juxtapad and several routines and ideas.

Really only a utility switching device for yellow sticky pads Report this review

To begin with the demonstrator put out a demo that made the gimmick seem like the second coming. And I should have know better because I saw him demo once live and he was much better than the tricks. But here is the thing this is a utility switching device that works well but that’s all it is for $45. It’s up to you. The book test has almost nothing to do with gimmick.
And they keep saying it can be done with any book. True, if you do arts and crafts on the book and don’t hand it out. Really misleading in my eyes.
It does do switching which makes writing vanish and appear no question. But what does that add? Lastly the tutorial only really shows two tricks. The book test and card to box. Maybe they should do a face book group like they have for Level One. Those guys know what they’re doing. Any way thumbs Dow for me unless you have an exact need to switch sticky pads.

I actually bought this somewhere else but I can't understand why people give it so few stars on Penguin. Yes its simple, but that's a good thing. Its a utility and a very useful one that's not using cards, coins or wallets. Anyone with a little bit of an imagination can make a great routine from this.

I honestly didn't get a lot of value for the product, it's not something I see myself using therefore it will be another item for the drawer.

For the price asked, I think there are better products to get.

My set came from a different vendor. As of this writing, I haven't tried it yet. But it does look clever. I took away one star because of a misleading bit in the video (which so many videos seem to have) that makes it look like the book belongs to the girl, when it does not. My other problem is that I'm a little older, and my hands have a tremor in them now. That makes it hard for me to write legibly. The other reviewer here wants to review the gimmick, not the trick. If we bought tricks from these websites based only on the gimmicks, I probably wouldn't have half the cool stuff that I have. All of these things are just gimmicks. But remember why you were attracted to the video in the first place. Surely you didn't really believe the guy was really doing real magic?? Learn the trick, practice it, and go out and "slay" people. Or get another hobby...

this is why I say two stars, to much money for what he is tying to sell ,once you see what you got not a good feeling and he says any book that is misleading and some thing I can not say ,if you have read other reviews they are pretty well hit the nail.I am starting to think mark is a car sales man of magic.
