Luke is onto something here. As a trained investigator and seasoned mentalist, I can attest that Luke's thinking and execution of that thinking is solid.

(SPOILER ALERT) "Nature abhors a vacuum..."

Luke understands how people think. He also understands that words matter when constructing an effect to a successful conclusion. It matters what you say and what you don't say.

Using something he calls, "the silent force," you will be able to implant a number, letter, card or even a word into someone's mind. The Silent Force is clearly the close cousin of any number of psychological force methodology.

Luke provides a relatively complete guide to using this method to pull off a number of effects, including an ACAAN that is quite clever.

This is not for everyone. It requires a performer who can roll with the tide and change course as needed to reach a destination.

However, if you are a mentalist who wishes to understand how people think, have a new tool in their toolbox and wants to strip away props (even bits of paper), then I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The book is 46 pages, but you will want to read it several times before trying it out. Do the work, try it out and then perfect it. It will be worth the effort.
