Bought off an open box auction. This did not match the picture at all Where you see 7 rings around
the vase, there are only 3 on the one I got, which makes the methodology practically scream at your
Audience. Also, the inside of the top cover has a very red view sometimes and other times looks
more like wood. Although this can be controlled by handling, IMHO, there is no excuse for that much
of a discontinuity. Right now, I am trying to figure out how to jig this to my lathe to fix the
problem as well as the headache to match the stain when I am done - I will definitely be painting
over the I mentioned before over. When I bought this, I acknowledged that I may never perform with
it, but it would make a nice display curio. Well, as I got it, that is all it is good for - a pretty
paperweight.
