All center tears are good. I hate reading magician's comments about which is the best or how this
one is so much stronger than the other one. What makes a center tear great is that once you tear the
paper even once the audience is thrown off - how can you read something that is torn? That's the
psychology behind a center tear.
There are some benefits to using the instant access style
center tears (which this is) over the old steal center tear but otherwise, you can practice any of
them and they're all great.
The big thing to learn is when and how to peek. This is what
this video teaches well! Routines with built in motivations to peek. You should develop your own in
time but you need to get a feel and rhythm for it first and having tried and tested routining really
helps you get a feel for how the timing works.
I would recommend getting this just for the
routining, but the center tear itself is also great.
