The Rose Act is a very visual matrix effect that does have the potential for other applications.
Despite what you might assume, this requires skill and practice. Without going into too much detail,
performing this effect without getting busted will require complete control over your performance
environment, so it is not at all suited for close-up situations.
The reason this loses
some stars from me is that what I saw on the promotional materials and pictures is not what I
received. I ordered the valorous silver option, but what arrived was really, really gold. In
speaking with Murphy’s, apparently, I did actually receive “silver,” which they admit is actually
gold. The gold option looks the same but has darker brown lowlights. Bottom line is that the silver
you get looks nothing like the silver that is advertised. For $300, I expected better.
Thanks for the review, but color aside , what do you think about the 'meat and potatoes' of the device (the workings) is it worth the pricetag if color isn't that important .
Lighting and distance lighting and distance lighting and distance!
It was mentioned that it's for stage magic show , and lighting conditions and from distance not for close-up. And of course it needed lots of practice, it's not right of the box . It doesn't feets every Magician but specific performers . It's definitely looks great but not for me that's why I would never purchase this one .
As for the meat and potatoes, without giving too much away, I would say that what you get is a very intricate device that is well-built to produce the impossible-appearing effects you’ve seen. Could this be something you could DIY? Maybe but this is a complete act. Is it worth $300? I don’t know. It has very limited viewing conditions. It’s not something you could stroll with. Or do closeup.
Thanks zsciaeount , appreciate it ...
One has to wonder what 'valorous' silver is. Valor = being valiant or brave...
Just ordered this on open box & hope it will meet my expectations. Does this have online instructions from SansMinds?
