David Regal’s “Perfectly Oiled” is a great effect that accomplishes some eye watering transformations and uses no gimmicks. Also he’s added a premise to the effect that give the audience a reason to want to see more.
His methods do involve some sleight of hand, but it’s all really basic moves. What really nice is the way he performs the moves and the timing he uses makes it so there appear to be no moves used. N9 fancy counts or mixing.
