The NEOPRENE bottom really GRIPS!...so much better than more expensive mats that I've used (that had the usual standard "rubber" bottom).

Traditional "rubber bottom" pads will slip off smooth shiny furniture...but NOT this one.

I am very impressed & happy with this product.
