This is the closest thing to watching real magic as you're going to get! You'll fool yourself!!!
HOWEVER...
Everything in the video is accurate EXCEPT...
1-Mine does not lay flat
(at all) as it appears to do so in the video. The coaster sits up off of the table or bar top about
an 1/8 of an inch more on one side versus the other, which is enough that something looks "off" to
the spectator. You cannot bend the coaster at all to "adjust" it.
2-You can angle it so
that the part of the coaster that is slightly elevated off of the countertop or bar top is towards
you, but it's very noticeable from the side views. I mix mine in with other coasters (plus you get
an extra matching coaster that is ungimmicked that I mix in as well) and set it on top of a stack of
6-7 of regular coasters so that the spectator has it "elevated to see the magic better." This makes
the fact that even though one side of the coaster won't lay anywhere near flat on the countertop,
it's now harder for anyone to notice because the cardboard coasters below it help obscure the
difference. As a side note, I have about 50 genuine craft/cardboard coasters and this one is larger
than any of them.
3-Also, in the video when he is "rough" with the handling or sets the
glass on the coaster casually or firmly, it's extremely risky to do that...mine requires you to set
the glass on it extremely carefully/gently or it will ruin the effect instantly.
If you can
live with the above, you are good with audience management, and you practice the moves so that
everything you are doing looks smooth and natural, it's absolutely amazing!!!
