I wish there were more reviews for this one, as the overall rating wouldn't do justice to this item,
when my 4 stars rating is calculated with a review by someone who clearly got a faulty item (that
might happen!) and didn't care to replace it, and another who rated it way too low based on the
limited functionality.
I was tempted to rate this 5 stars just so the overall rating would
be closer to the truth, but I decided to go with the exact rating I thought fit.
THIS ITEM
WORKS AND WORKS GREAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.
The video is very clear as to how to use it,
and offers many ideas, of which you will adopt at least one right away.
The cons are that
the cubes are a bit large, and finding the secret opening may be a bit tricky (it's not as simple as
showed in the video, but with a bit jiggling works still).
The pros are many. There is a
way to use the item with almost no practice at all, and when used that way, the functionality of the
item may indeed be rather limited. However, with the necessary work (a little memorization that is
really not that hard) the outcome effect is superior to many other items, plus you're left with
nothing to hide (which is much better than in other similar items).
I recommend getting
the extra regular cube (offered here at Penguin Magic for 45$) but even without it, what you get
allows you to perform miracles, with almost no sleight of hand at all (the video offers A GREAT
method to accomplish that).
4.5 stars for an item that delivers, and allow you to receive
the information needed to read minds in an unseen super simple way.
