The EP Principle is a very useful effect, quite surprising in its impact and easy to adapt to other
scenarios.
Its instructions are difficult to follow though -- I took notes as carefully as
I could, but had to watch it twice and stop-start a lot. The reason for this is the presentation is
sloppily illogical. A good set of instructions should first show the trick in live performance
(which THE EP PRINCIPLE does quite well, at least), but then should proceed to advance preparation
and set-up, followed by a step-by-step process. But these "how-to's" go into details of the effect
before the secret is clearly explained, so that they are nearly meaningless. The man who presents
this effect is a good entertainer and quite charming to watch, but next time I hope he consults a
magician who knows how to write and organize.
