I am not sure if its the accent or the rapid fire speech, but it is very hard to follow the
instructions , explanation and descriptions. I have watched it several time and am still having
trouble.

Wow, this trick blew me away. I couldn't believe how easy it is. There's not too much to memorize.
If you remember the few steps, the trick basically performs itself. Woody combined a couple
mathematical principals and created an effect that is bigger than the sum of is parts. There are no
moves, if you can count and deal, you can perform this.

The reason I am giving this a 4 star review is because the actual trick he shows is beautiful, and
it seems everyone else who purchased this download understands the explanation with no problems.
But I've watched the explanation thrice now, and I just can't follow. Between his very
thick accent, and the speed at which he speaks while explaining things, I just could not keep up
with what he was saying. It's very frustrating because I seem to be the only one having this
problem, so I won't knock the rating for something that's my own fault. This is clearly a great
principle, but I just couldn't follow along with the explanation.

The EP Principle is a very useful effect, quite surprising in its impact and easy to adapt to other
scenarios.
Its instructions are difficult to follow though -- I took notes as carefully as
I could, but had to watch it twice and stop-start a lot. The reason for this is the presentation is
sloppily illogical. A good set of instructions should first show the trick in live performance
(which THE EP PRINCIPLE does quite well, at least), but then should proceed to advance preparation
and set-up, followed by a step-by-step process. But these "how-to's" go into details of the effect
before the secret is clearly explained, so that they are nearly meaningless. The man who presents
this effect is a good entertainer and quite charming to watch, but next time I hope he consults a
magician who knows how to write and organize.

First I have no problem with folks from other countries and their accents BUT with that and the fast
pace of his instructions, I've come no where close to understanding the instructions.
It
looks like a learnable and very cool trick but I'm close to giving up.

Wow - this is SO great! It looks completely fair and could play big! After seeing the method, I
didn't think I could do it, but after viewing it a few times, I had it down.

This will get you out of a corner if friends throw you their deck and say
“ show us a trick “ 👌

A great trick for only the cost of a cup of coffee. Personally I found Woody's accent a little
difficult to follow but it was much easier the second time I watched the video. Once you know the
principle it is unlikely you will forget it - so you can be ready to present this instantly, no
setup required. This would be a great one to have in reserve for when you are asked to "do a
trick" or repeat another trick previously performed. Since the EP principle requires no setup you
could shuffle the deck to disguise the previous trick and go again with another worthy follow up.

Woody has taken another old principle and given it a new wrapping to make it better. While I tend to
avoid the cut a packet, count it then look at the card that corresponds to that number tricks,
wrapping it in a mathematical presentation gives you a reason. I still wouldn't present this as a
mind-reading trick, if you could really read minds would you really do something this convoluted?
IF you follow Woody's advice and make the presentation interesting this is a fun trick that
can't be explained. If you do it mechanically and focus on the process it is still a good trick but
not entertaining, and if they remember exactly what you did they can do it and it will work.
Woody does a good job describing other ways to use the EP principle and how it works. I've know
the Clock trick for decades but never really thought about why it works, just that it does. Now I
know.
Thanks Woody.

This builds on several older principles that have been around for quite a while. Woody, however,
makes what could have been a very boring dealing trick into a miracle.
The real value here,
however, is the additional material (both methods and effects) that are offered. With some thought
this could be used to spell a client's name; the name of a company or product; or even the name of
the host of the party. I highly recommend this because it can be done in many ways toe achieve many
great effects. Watch (and listen) carefully and you will get much more than your money's worth.
