Inaki's philosophy is that there are only so many effects you can do, so learn the best ones. With
one exception, all of the tricks taught could be closers for a show (or openers). The bottle
production should be performed sooner rather than later in your show.
The closer
philosophy is also the downfall of the act. The effects are there, but there's not a common thread
between them. It does make the act very modular though. The tricks could easily be used by an emcee
between acts. The effects will work in most environments.
Imposters and R&B Phenomena are
practical and almost self working. Because you can concentrate on your showmanship and audience
interaction, you will get a lot of mileage from these effects.
You may be able to perform
silkeny 2.0 right away if you have the two gimmicks and load of scarves. If not, it will not cost
you much to assemble to the items yourself. It is an exceptionally entertaining routine. I have
gotten a lot of play time out of it.
Bill, Nut, Egg, & Orange takes a fair amount of
preparation. The prep is easy and practical, but you will likely only use the effect for formal
shows.
Inaki is organized and provides lessons on prop management. His English is clear
and instructions are good. If you watched the trailer and thought you'd like to learn an effect,
then get the act.
