I strongly recommend this. The first time I saw it, I was wowed. It's a knockout and uses a
borrowed, shuffled deck with no preparation. Pick up the deck and go.
A few people have
asked how Larry's version relates to Harry Lorayne's "Impromptu Out of This World." Larry reports
that they both start with U. F. Grant's "Nu Way Out of This World" for the first phase and they both
do something similar in the second phase, but Larry's handling and psychology in the second phase is
different. His work, derived from a piece by Gary Ouellet, uses strong misdirection to cover the
barest touching of the cards. There is no perceived "handling" or "moment" at the end, which better
disguises the subtlety involved.
The other versions I've seen are often over-handled (for
my liking) at the wrong time. Larry's version of the OOTW plot is so clean, so hands off. If you
could really do magic, this is how it would look. Five stars and it deserves more.
