Well, the first think I thought when watching the first uncut performance, was that I felt scamed. I
was really disapointed. Some very bad mathematical force was involved and I really don't like the
kind of "mentalism". The one used here is so obvious that I hardly imagine someone been amazed by it
(at the opposit of what Jamie said).
But what came next was much more interesting. The
mathematical stuff is just a mean that can be replaced by other methods. And the idea that Jamie
uses next is really precious because it allows to obtain a couple of very personnal information of
the spectator, which is for me the biggest goal of mentalism.
Unfortunately, this aspect is not
studied at all. This is a big lack and make this video very "amateur".
I have to mention that in
the attached pdf is included a very very good routine that should be mentionned in the trailer and
in the video (together with a live performance) in which you guess the position of 3 coins.
This
routine plus the main idea makes this video valuable , but overpriced.
