All I know is that, when Aaron lectured here in Austin a few years ago, he performed The Graduate just before the break. My response to The Graduate was "I don't care what else comes in the lecture - this is the only trick I care about and want to learn" . Have been playing with it off-and-on since and still love it. People have no clue how the card is rising(not puzzled but amazed). I do it face up and have some framing so that this makes sense.
